Dark matter makes up about 27% of the total mass of the Universe. Many physicians believe that dark matter acts as a glue that binds the Universe. As a result, galaxies, clusters of stars and all normal matter in the Universe establish harmony and order. Dark matter is invisible, however this fact does not prove that this matter does not exist. The existence of dark matter is inferred by the observation of phenomena that occur in the Universe.
Particles of dark matter are described as WIMP (Weakly Interacting Massive Particles).
